SCG Classic Car Restoration: Resto-Mods
This Department, written by our top contributor, John Gunnell, is about "Resto-Mod" style restorations. Traditionally, the restoration of a car involves completely disassembling and rebuilding it with either repaired original parts, good used parts that are exact matches or replacements for the originals or new parts that match or replace the originals. The restoration of a Resto-Mod follows the same tear-down/build-up process, but allows the person doing the work to be more creative with parts and cosmetic details.
